Mariangela Cocca has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2015.
After working in several international law firms (France and Belgium), she joined – as part of the “Schuman program” – the legal service of the European Parliament to successively embrace a career as a lawyer. A criminal at heart, the defense of people in weak situations is at the center of his concerns. Mariangela also remains alongside the condemned. From your deprivation of liberty until the trial, she will assist you in all phases of the criminal procedure.
It supports prisoners in their requests for modification of their sentence, by developing a range of conditions conducive to the acceptance of their request by the Sentencing Court. A lawyer certified in the practice of criminal cassation, she will defend your interests up to the Court of Cassation.
Mariangela also practices property law (primary residence leases). She supports you in your landlord-tenant relations in the preventive management of conflicts but also throughout the litigation phase.
Whether you are an individual or a company, Mariangela answers your questions in the field of national and international contracts. She personally deals with the drafting and revision of national and international contracts aimed at generating favorable conditions but also at seeking a solid and lasting balance between the parties in order to prevent and limit the risks of litigation.
Having established solid professional contacts, Mariangela supports foreign companies wishing to invest in Italy or Belgium. She supervises the HR department of foreign companies that open a branch in Italy and, thanks to her professional network, she provides them with assistance in labor law, social law and accounting matters.
In 2023 she obtained the certificate as Executive Director (Formazione del Dirigente) for Italian companies, in order to strengthen and update her knowledge on the rules regarding well-being and safety at work.
